The Locket must be the sweetest time-travel book out there! Some will say it was a total cliché but it had so many twists so you never know what will happen next and you can't wait to see which guy will Kate pick. Will it be Isaac or Mitch? The story will just suck you right in. And let me tell you there were a few huge shockers. While reading,the book went from 3 to 4 until at the end it reached 5 stars. Those people who know me can tell I don't give 5 star rating unless I really loved it(read obsess about it). I recommend it to those who love a good teen(emphasis on teen)fantasy. I don't think older readers will like it very much.

I've got 2 biographies of Muhammad on the list. Both are good and fairly balanced. This one has a slightly negative view of Muhammad and one (the Karen Armstrong one) a positive view, but both are good and fairly balanced.

Interesting, author did a good job of letting facts tell the story and did not push her personal views on the reader. She did share her views but, felt the book provided lots of good info on raising girls in this consumer crazy world.

Whenever I am in need of some comfort, I always return to Erica James. This was the first of her books I read and I have been enchanted ever since. Whilst her characters often, and particularly in this book, have a strong silver lining of not having tense financial challenges (though that is part of the storyline for this book), the emotional journeys she takes them on are so compelling and so in-tune with reality that you can't help but become hooked. Very much a strong recommendation for anyone needing that comfort that only a good book and a duvet or blanket can provide.
