Dick imagines a world where androids are so identical do human beings that the only way to tell them apart is using a psychological text. This is the pretext he uses to examine the meaning of life. Oddly, androids can only live about 4 years. The setting is after WWTerminus - a huge nuclear battle that has left Earth almost uninhabitable and most people have emigrated to Mars. It's a grim read, but fairly entertaining. If you listen to the audiobook you can enjoy the talents of Scott Brick - a great reader!

I really enjoyed this book. The author shares her experience of growing up with a parent living with schizophrenia. She writes in a way that allows you to sympathize with her heartache.. Do I stay with my sick parent, or go with my dad? The moment that she finally 'switches sides' is heartbreaking. Definitely recommend this one.. Helps shed light on the children's experience when mental health issues are not treated.

I thought that this book was very good, the characters were likable and the plot was great. I like the whole aspect of the aliens and powers, i couldn't stop reading it towards the end because it was full of action. On the other hand, i felt that in some parts of the book it was kind of slow and had many things that could have been left out and also some characters. But overall it was a good book and i am looking forward for the second one.

When i finished this I just started re-reading the whole thing over again and I've never done this with any other book. I thought it was stunning. I just loved it. I understand why people may shy away from it or deem it 'boring' as there's very little 'action'. But i really don't care. It's just fabulous. I wanted to say that it was beautifully written, but that really doesn't do it justice. I will just say that it is about the most perfect book that i've ever had the pleasure of reading... and re-reading... and re-reading...

This book is about how a girl is in love with a guy who lies to her that he is in college.Then he rapes her and leaves her with HIV.Then in this book it shows everything and the process of her having HIV.As you know HIV develops into AIDS which is worse.Nancy is living her life knowing that when HIV or AIDS spread she can die.I like the book even though i hate when Nancy is just writing random stuff in her diary like waht happened in school and stuff beacuse it boring.This book can be founded in Ms Lacy library in room B407.ENJOY!
