WOW!! This book was soooo good!! I couldn't put it down and stayed up until I finshed it...I just had to know what happened. I truly love mythology and what Aimee Carter has done to those legends in this book is FANTASTIC! It is so refreshing and energizing to read about the story of Persephone and Hades. Yet, the interesting twist that has come along to make it new and modern. This book was well written, mesmerizing to where I couldn't put it down, a romantic love story, and ingenius. Goddess Test is a major page turner in which it hooks you from the very beginning and plagues your mind until you have finished the book. MUST READ!!

Well...I picked up this book to find out more about Jane and her relationship with Mental Illness. She does a great job of chronicling her life, but I found she glossed over alot of the deeper reasons for her choices regarding her brushes with Depression ( her mothers death) and was disappointed that she did not mention anything about Ted Turner and his Bi Polarism, nor did she identify Vadim as Hyperthymic which it seems very obvious he was. For the amount of time she spent with Hayden there is really not alot of detail there either. I think she told it like it was from her perspective as a 60 something, but would have liked more grit and soul delving. I didnt feel it really dug to the heart, but as the title says " My life so far" My hope is that she gets there...and I congratulate her on her attempts!

i wasn't too impressed with this book. it was just sort of blah. i never had that desire to keep on reading. the story is about three siblings being watched by their cousin during a pretty bad storm. in order to keep the kids from going crazy gage, the cousin, tells them a story about an orphan tooth fairy named what-the-dickens. throughout the story he is discribed as a rogue tooth fairy. he's not. he's a lost tooth fairy that everyone thinks is stupid. anyway, it just wasn't one of those books that kept me interested. it was just blah.

This was definitely a great book for such a young writer. I was very impressed. It does follow along the lines of Lord of the Rings and Star Wars but, the author definitely made it his own.

This book was well done and really gave a background on both Hepburns and Tracy's lives - but Spencer Tracy was a dog and Katherine Hepburn must have had her own issues to tolerate his garbage for so many years!
