A truly weird alien invasion story. It took me several long days to finish. It was fairly compelling material. I did get the sense that these two writers had a lot of fun writing this story. The characters were all well developed and the plotline was great. This book just seemed to lack a certain umpf that makes me want to keep it. Others may like it more than me. Decent solid read that you don't need to be a hard sci-fi lover to appreciate.

Just a fantastic read. You get a great feel for Cicero's life and thought and of that time period. I wish every great Greek and Roman thinker had a book such as this.

A; This was a pretty good installment. Sexual tension continues and the reader still wonders which man Stephanie will choose. Janet does a nice job tying in the previous stories, but at the same time making the current book able to stand on its own. I listened to the audio version and enjoyed the interview with the author at the end.

I love all the books in the Anne series, but this is by far my favorite. Anne's exploits at Redmond College inspire even me to study. All of the reading an Anne fan must do to get to the point at the end of this book (where Gilbert and she actually KISS!!) is worth it. Brava!

Truly brilliant first few chapters, but the novel kind of loses steam. I didn't share some of the other characters' fascination/love with the character Perkus Tooth -- he is a boring, skeavy loner I'd avoid like turberculosis and be happy that I did. I needed more evidence that he could compel the people around him such lengths of fascination -- I think it was less him, and more the weed.

The book charts Clinton's life from his early southern days, born to a widow, up to his leaving of the White House. If you have an interest in any of American life/politics, the civil right's struggles, the history of modern American presidencies, the process of presidential and gubernatorial elections and the politics of their offices as well as a variety of world affairs from trade and nuclear agreements to the Middle East and Northern Ireland, you will thoroughly enough this book. A fascinating insight into Clinton and his ideals, My Life also serves as a succinnct "brief history of the past 40 years". And of course, it's a really well told history at that. Well worth reading.

Wonderful descriptive language and strong and engaging characters complete the package.
