This is the second book in this series and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It went into a bit further depth regarding magic and circles and the witching community. It also introduced a new "power" following along the modern witch lines of the book. The interaction of the people in the book flows easily and keeps one interested in what is happening and what is upcoming. I look forward to reading the next book in the series.

I read The Hobbit in high school, but I wanted to re-read it again as an adult. I regaled in the tale of Bilbo Baggins, Gandalf, and the thirteen Dwarves as they journeyed to the mountain to regain their gold and treasures from Smaug, the dragon. One of my favorite characters in the entire book is Beorn. I enjoy the descriptions of Beorn, and how in the end, during the Battle of The Five Armies, Beorn rose up to enormous size and slew the new Goblin King Bolg and his bodyguards, making the rest of the Goblin Army to be easily beaten by the men, Elves, Dwarves, and Eagles. I entice anyone, young or old, to pick up a copy of The Hobbit. This book never gets old. At the age of 16 or the age of 49, I would recommend this book to anyone. Good reading. :)
