April 1-3, 2016 Ah, this one was good. Like, seriously. We find out about some stuff Roarke did in the past, and the fact that the read is STILL in love with him afterward? Pretty impressive on Nora Roberts J.D. Robb's part! Just saying. But this is one where I was like, "Ummmmmmm.... WHO IS THE BAD GUY?????" because there just weren't very many characters other than the main few in this book... so he SORTA comes out of nowhere, but not really. You get it when they figure it out, but figuring it out ahead of time is unlikely. At least, not if you're me. (I NEVER figure it out...) :) PS for future me: (view spoiler) SO GREAT!!!!! July 2-5, 2013 Such a freaking great book! February 3, 2012 May 8-10, 2011 March 1-3, 2011 This one was really really good! This mystery revolves around Roarke and Summerset and things that happened back in Ireland in Roarke's past... So we get to find out a LOT more details about both men's backgrounds. Summerset seems to be a fairly interesting character! And Roarke totally has a SCARY side! I wonder how events of this book will affect Eve and Summerset's relationship... I guess we'll see. I hope it doesn't change it TOO much... I do QUITE enjoy their fighting! :) And I really really enjoy Eve and Roarke's arguments. They're always so lovely! :) Roarke and Peabody's taunting remarks are the BEST! HILARIOUS!

I really enjoy Fiona's medical HMBs and her ST was wonderful. I really liked all the characters and especially the story of hero's sister. This is a fabulous book and a lovely read :)

OK, so this book got pretty bad reviews on this site....like "I gave it one star because there was no 0 star rating"...I think that's pretty harsh. I actually liked the book. The cover is gorgeous! The descriptions are lush and detailed so you can really visualize the settings in your mind. Some parts were slow-moving and throughout most of the book it felt like I just kept waiting for something BIG to happen so the anti-climatic ending was a little disappointing. BUT the love story was SO sweet and it was so easy to fall in love with the characters. Some people commented on how weak and dependent Bethany was....well, again I say, you ARE reading YA Fiction, so it is what it is. IF you are looking for a super strong, powerful, female character this is NOT the book for you. It IS, however, the only 'angel' book that I've read that references God, and it is pretty prominent, which I liked. I mean, they are angels, right? Overall, not the best angel book I've read, but I'm impressed that it was written by an author who was only 17. I enjoyed the story overall and will probably read the second book when it comes out just out of curiosity. P.S. I'm a really bad reviewer!! :)

Picked it up because it had "dogs" in the title and bought it because the synopsis made it sound dogcentric. Surprised that it wasn't as focused on the dog as I was expecting, but pleasantly so. Loved the surprises of not knowing what would happen next and the quirky paths the author took to illustrate the relationship between the man and the woman he's lost to suicide. Would definitely pick up Ms. Parkhurst's next book.
