This novel starts off better than the previous two in this series but it flounders once the two main characters are married. Sometimes the female protagonist, Bethia, is so naive you want to shake her. It takes her forever to realize the faults with her parents. Also, she is too easily tricked so that there are actually too many times in the book where she could have been killed despite the predictable happy ending of the book. Plus, the reasoning behind her dislike of Eric, the male protagonist, going off to fight for his land is drawn out, repetitive, and yet not fully explained. There were several moments in the book that felt like repeats and thus could have been done away with.

More of a love story between a boy and his horse than between a boy and a girl. Gabe's character was also a bust for me. Where was he all the time, what was his plan to save the house? As a reader I felt no connection to him, which is really a reflection of Puck's lack of intereactions with him. After loveing the Shiver series so much this was quite a let-down.

The writer has come up with a fabulous fairytale about a girl called Glory. . . . . . Glory has just been employed at the Royal Palace, to help in preparation for the Queen’s grand ball . . . little does she know that her destiny awaits, in the most unlikely of places . . . And finally there’s Nova, the reader. Nova is fifteen and dealing with typical teen pressures and loneliness. Fantasy isn’t really her forté, but she needs a short escape from her hassles. . . ‘Triple Ripple’ is such a smart book. Lowry has written no mean feat for herself, by intertwining three different perspectives on a parallel time-line, but alternate universes. It may sound complicated and convoluted, but Lowry’s book is utterly charming and consuming. You get lost in the prose and become excitedly dazed by the complexity of the plot. And formatting ensures the layered tale is told with absolute ease, as each narrator has a different font, and sub-heading. “. . . On the afternoon of the grand balls, servant boys polish the dance floor by grating beeswax upon it, then sliding about with auld sacks on their feet, skating and laughing most joyous, despite the admonitions of the head butler, whose face, as I remember, resembled a shriveled prune. I do believe those lads had more fun readying the dance floor than the dancers did in the evening.” “It does sound wondrous indeed; this world within a world. Is the palace a happy place, then?” A strange look came over her mother’s face. “It is a place like any other. You’ll find good and bad there, as you find anywhere else.” Her tone was sharp, as if her daughter had spilt milk or forgotten to light the fire. “Come now, Child. It’s time for bed,” she continued, more gently. ‘Triple Ripple’ is a dazzling little read – it’s aimed at the younger end of the young adult spectrum, but Lowry’s tricky storytelling ensures that the book will be enjoyed by a wide audience.

This book was very good. Richelle Mead is an author with the extrodinary talents of making a book just feel so real! You really have link to Rose's feelings, and all of the situations she gets into are all very well described, and interesting. I would reccomend this book to anyone over the ages of 14, though, and I think that most people who have read this book will agree with me on that part. This book is definetely in the competition for best book of the Vampire Academy series.

This was my brothers favorite book when he was little and the first book my daughter memorized. She would sit and read this adorable book to me every chance she got. So my 5 star rating may be biased, but if I could give it a 6, I would.

Sanırım bu kitabı beğendim, ama zor bir okuma olduğunu düşündüm. İçeri girmek zor. Filmi düşünerek ve sonra kitapta sergilenen kişilikleri karşılaştırırken eğlendim. "Sanırım hoşuma gitti" diyorum çünkü ne sebeple olursa olsun kitabın bazı bölümlerini hala hatırlıyorum ve onlar hakkında düşünüyorum, bu yüzden her iki durumda da bana yapıştı.
