Adrianna’s Cowboy written by Savannah Stuart is one delicious hot story. Emotions tend to run high between these two characters, Adrianna and Sam. It leaves the reader wondering, if they can stay together. Ms. Stuart is an author that the reader can enjoy reading in the future. As the reviewer, I wouldn’t mind having a cowboy like Sam.Reviewed by Connie Spears DIVA RATING: 4 Divas HEAT RATING: Flame Link:http://www.deviantdivaseroticbookrevi...

I found Da Vinci Code to be entertaining, but as others have said, the book is poorly written.

I knew the movie was a stanky ass piece of crap but the reviews on this book was decent so I gave it a shot and I did like it! It's a coming of age/ mutant discovery book and you really root for Davy cos he's just gone through so much. He takes on a vigilante role and you just want him to kick so much ass even though he's just a skinny teenage kid from Ohio. Fun read though!

I enjoyed this book quite a bit, through most of it. However, there were a lot of times I was annoyed by how long and drawn out everything was. The first section, though it had a lot of interesting stories to tell and interesting background, was far too long for me. And the last section seemed kind of rushed and full of too much information and tried to hard to bring everything to a close. Some pretty heavy handed symbolism throughout. I wasn't too fond of the characterizations, because they all seemed a bit two-dimensional to me. I didn't understand Shiva, I didn't understand why Marion loved Genet so much. You hardly got to know most of the other characters. So, basically, I had a lot of quibbles with it, but I enjoyed it and think Verghese is very talented as a writer.

Every time I pick up this book, I find myself wanting to post quotes from it. Except, if I did that, I'd be posting the whole book. It really just is that good.

Non-stop action that you can't put down. The best of Dan Brown's books.

This book is really like 2-1/2 stories woven together. The first 20% or so was really slow going for me. I was having a hard time keeping track of who was who, and the story jumping back and forth was confusing. Suddenly, though, it all clicked in to place, and I had a hard time putting it down. I find fairs inherently fascinating, so reading about such a seminal fair was really interesting. I love Ferris Wheels, and to be honest, I had never even wondered who first thought of suspending people in carriages on a movable wheel. I really wanted Burnham and the fair to be a success, and despite the tragic end of the expedition, I feel like in the end, he was. The story of Holmes' many lives and lies was equally intriguing, and it is amazing to think how close he came to never being caught. The thought that someone could actually be so cruel and heartless is almost unbelievable, but there it is. It is true, which makes it even more sad. I'm so glad I stuck with this one through the tough beginning - it was definitely worth it.
