The conclusion of the second Corum trilogy and the last Corum novel it is as always well written and will (I believe) draw you in. The Prince of the Scarlett Robe can save them... His old enemies his new allies, but are they allies. Even though they depend on him, they need him, are they his allies? Having been mislead his former allies don't know Corum or don't think they do. Entrapped and battling will Corum have any place to turn. I think you'll see the end coming here but it's, as a story constructed so well I don't think it will take away from the novel. I rated these 3 stars. That has to do with my own experience of this last trilogy and the fact that it is so dark and fatalistic. That being said, even if I can't call them enjoyable, I do recommend them. Just be aware that they are, as said, dark and fatalistic. If you haven't read the first trilogy let me suggest that you do. This is, these are short novels and could be considered long on action and plot while a little short on characterization. That's not actually so if you build the character through all six novels. These are an integral part of the Eternal Champion Cycle, an epic fantasy in multiple volumes. If you're a fantasy fan I think you owe it to yourself to track them down and give them a try.

She also has a side job writing erotic stories to make a little extra cash and provide an outlet for her otherwise unfulfilling sex life. She has noticed a change in her recent stories that coincides with a personal discovery. Her stories are focusing more and more on lesbian characters, and Janet can't help but wonder if these characters are a reflection of her true self. While at a conference, Janet is rooming with a complete stranger who sends Janet's emotions and desires running wild. This is a quick and enjoyable story about a woman beginning to explore new desires and needs. The character of Janet is well drawn and, as the story is from her point of view, she is understandably more developed than Chaz. Their interactions cause sparks to fly from the very beginning and you just know it will culminate in a very satisfying ending once they give in to their mutual attraction. The story is well written and it flows smoothly. There are some points where the story veers off course slightly or provides more details than are really needed, but in general it stays on course and drives to the climax. There are many details about New York that readers familiar with the city will likely appreciate and recognize. This is a sweet story of discovery and exploration with a smidgen of spice mixed in to satisfy readers. This was an introduction to a new author for me and I will definitely be looking to read more stories from Crystal.

I like this book but because it's historical fiction, I am wondering what's real and what's made up. I will read something non-fiction about her next. I could not stop reading this book! Thank goodness times have changed for women.

I think that the subject matter in the book needs to be thought about a lot and not simply taken as is (and Rob Bell has SAID that he doesn't want it to be simply accepted without judgement). That said, it's a great book for making you think about Christianity and what it really means. I didn't love this book as much as Sex God, but i still thought it was awesome.

this is an audio book from Lesley. Was on my to read list so thanks Les! This may not be the best written book but the story is just so compelling. I did this on audio and the narrators were wonderful. I thought about this book so often during the day and evening and had a hard time letting the story go. Would definitely recommend it to everybody.

I wasn't a fan of the ending because I don't like books that make ME decide what really happened- but I found the description of zoos and zookeepers and the diverse religious experinces quite enlightening. I would recommend it on those two things alone...

This has wonderful little stories and if youre ADD like I am it can be hard to keep picking it up because there is not one character you're following. But every time you do pick it up you're immediately brought into this world and don't want to leave. I don't think of myself as someone who likes fables about a small village in South America but I don't think anyone would dislike this.
