Norman Borlaug has done more good on this planet than any person to ever live. I've had the priviledge of getting to know him over the past three years. For someone who has saved ONE BILLION LIVES, he is an incredibly humble man. Admittedly, this book could be written better, but Borlaug's story is one of inspiration and not to be missed.

So gosh dang beautiful. Made me cry. Twice. Cassandra Clare is one of my favorite authors of all time, and I can only wish she had a thousand more books for me to read. I have finally decided whom I want Tessa to be with, and it is Jem. I decided this upon reading a particularly beautiful speech Jem gave Tessa, which was the first time I cried. I still, however, deeply love Will, and hope he will have all the happiness in the world. His sadness was the second time I cried. This may be the first time I've ever read a book that had a love triangle in it and have been able to utterly sympathize with the girl who could not chose between two boys. Every other time the choice has been obvious for me, but this time it was not. Props to Miss Clare. <3

A almost 4yr old is so sick, his parents are distraught really hard to read all they went through......but then the book gets to the heart of the matter. When Colton matter of factly starts telling things he saw while in Heaven. Keep in mind he is very young but does have a dad who is a pastor(but even a child could not know some of the things he was telling, like where he parents where while he was in surgery and many other things he couldn't know). It was a joyous adventure for me to read all he had to say about Heaven. It's a quick read and so glad I read it!

She is working for jurisfiction, the organisation which polices the world of literature from the inside, and her boss is Miss Haversham, the Dickens character from Great Expectations. You probably will take this book more seriously than this summary makes you think you will as it is seriously well written and very funny.

Very interesting and informative tool for analyzing the deeply rooted beliefs and values of groups. Especially those beliefs that contribute to a very strong sense of personal/shared identity. The one thing I'd like to see added to this book is the use of more psychological theories (not just Freud's framework for psychoanalysis).

This is another "currently reading" that I have sort of abandoned...although Marquez is a genius, and the imagery and magical realism is so unusually beautiful, I get lost keeping track of the ten Don Julio Luis's or whatever...everyone seems to have the same name! And I keep chastising myself for not reading it in spanish...sigh...es asi la vida...
