This is a beautiful book. It's Classic Amy Tan. A beautiful story with multiple layers and complex characters. (I sound like I know what I'm talking about) Seriously, it's a really good book. Loved it.

NO NO NO NO NO. This is NOT a good book. It's okay. But its nothing more than that. There are several reasons why I say this: 1. There is no plot: the entire book is Bella moping about and pining after Edward, who she barely knows, so how can she be in love with him? The only good bit was at the end, which actually had suspense, action and compelled me to read on like a good book should, but it seemed rushed and like it had been stuck on as an afterthought. 2. Bella. She is the single most annoying person I have ever met in literature. I love how Stephanie Meyer makes you think she's all witty and intelligent because she reads books like 'Sense and Sensibility'. And how every boy in the school falls in love with her. I thought the whole point was she was supposed to be ordinary. 3. Edward. He's such a yawn-fest. Personally I liked Emmet more. I know Ed is supposed to be inhuman and all, but he was SO hard to relate to. And I know he's gorgeous but he doesn't have a personality. Ask yourself: if he wasn't beautiful would he interest you at all, in any way? I think not. 4. Not enough of the bad vamps. They were the best characters (excluding Mike and Eric, my bitches). I refer to point one - Stephanie could have cut out a good half of the book which is just Bella's boring daily routine, and really expanded on the actual plot of the book, which only came at the very end. The last bit was the only bit that prevented me from giving Twilight one star.

The book is a great guide to anyone who wants to tour the Pacific coast on a bike. My advice - read the book, toss it and then run off the road! There is plenty to be had off the beaten track described in the book.

This is a fun series so far. I like a noir character that gets banged around and Harry Dresden fits the bill. This story involved werewolves, gangsters and broken relationships. I look forward to reading more in this series.

Reading a Roberts book with a male main character and from a more male perspective was an entirely new experience in itself. One I'm still on the fence about whether I enjoyed or not. At times I hated it, other times I loved the way it was so different from all her other books. The storyline is exceptional and it left me guessing until the last minute.

** spoiler alert ** Wow. This book is amazing.I can't really think of the words that could describe it. Sad.Funny(in the begining with all the hair jokes).Suprising. It was very Insperational.I mean it would be hard to stay with someone who's beating you.But to love them at the same time?I myself have never been in a relationship like this but one of my family members has been.It made me think of what I would do in a situation like hers? I've been thinking,and thinking about it.It would really hard to imagine someone you cared about so much turn out to be like Rogerson. I mean, he could have seen his father hit his mother and him when he was a kid, that could have made him think it was okay. But i have yet to come up with a reason to stay or leave that person if I was ever in a situation so... intense.I mean, I know leaving would be the right thing to do, but it would be really hard. I honestly don't know if I could do it.I don't know how I would tell anyone. But yes, I do encourage you to read it.
