My Review: ZOMBIES DON'T CRY was the first zombie novel that I have ever read. Yes, I did just say that. Honestly, the thought of zombies kind of creep me out. They're not pretty undead like vampires, and they don't have hot looking abs like shapeshifters. They are not heroes to me. They are the things that you kill. At least, that's what I thought until I read this book. Rusty Fischer made me like zombies, because his have heart and humor, and most of all, they don't eat brains. Well, they do, but not straight from a human head. Maddy is a great heroine. Though she's more of an outcast than class president, Fischer has given her a sassy attitude, and a great sense of humor. She's smack-dab in the middle of hero and anti-hero, which made her all the more endearing to me. She felt like a real person, and Fischer didn't allow her character to fall into the category of cliche. ZOMBIES DON'T CRY proposes a whole new outlook on zombies, the way that they are made, and gives the reader a plausible explanation for why some are like Maddy, and others become Zerkers. I had a great time reading this book, and I have to thank Fischer for opening my mind to reading more zombie novels. 4.5/5 for plot 5/5 for characters 4/5 for language My Rating: 13.5/15 (4 stars) Must Read, if you liked: Hex Hall by Rachel Hawkins Confessions of a Vampire's Girlfriend by Katie MacAlister Broken Heart Vampires (series) by Michele Bardsley

** spoiler alert ** take beside the fact that Zoey is definitely a (sorry) ho, P.C Cast had created a great book. I love that the story has something to do with legends and myths, really i found the idea with Kalona really impressing. And maybe because i am a teenager i just adore the easy-going writing style. Those are some plus points. Even if i gave the book 5 star rating that doesnt mean the book was flawless. I am 15 years old and i had a boyfriend, i know how it felt like to be between handsome men, but still i doubt Zoey is normal. My first impression: 1. Zoey is a TOO nice girl 2. Zoey is freakishly shallow 3. Zoey is over hyperactive aggressive and has no women's pride 4. Zoey has issue/hyper sex/whatever Why cant she just break up the imprint with Heath? Why couldn't she think clearly before fooling around with Heath? Why Heath why? (I never like Heath) Obviously, i was very glad that Zoey may had something with Stark. Maybe the reason i gave untamed 5 star is because there were less love thingie, not like in Chosen (i thought i would puke because Zoey was definitely shallow). This book was totally focused on the real issue and i found it very pleasant. This is the best book of the other four. And please, please, Zoey must not be so perfect. Its too cliche. Zoey is the wrong hero. I like Aphrodite more, even the names too cheesy. Throw Zoey, and all her boyfriend to the trash bin then i would give untamed 7-star. sorry for stupid grammar and spelling mistakes, i am still learning.

Sinopsis: -–¿Qué prefiere: elfo a tiempo completo o elfo de tardes y fines de semana? –preguntó la mujer de Macy’s. –Elfo a tiempo completo –dije yo. :)

I am giving this only two stars, but it is a GOOD two stars. The detracting factor for me was the fact that the story is told entirely in letter form, which I personally find distracting, and feel that the character and plot development suffers because of it. That said, I enjoyed the story and was interested in the time period and the history of the Nazi occupation on Guernsey Island. Though it is a time period I have read extensively about, there were passages that brought fresh horror about the holocaust and the war in general, which is something I feel is hard to do.
I actually went my whole life thus far having not read a Stephen King book because I had little interest in Horror. Reading this book, I found why Stephen King is so popular. I bought it to read while on a train from Paris to Munich, and I was sad when the train ended because I didn't want to put it down. That night I arrived at a hostel and stayed up until very early in the morning just to finish it. Since then, I've decided to go back through King's works and read them as he wrote them.

In a follow-up to Rebecca, Beauman attempts to take us into the future and then back into the past and beyond. You will get three different perspectives to what really happened to Rebecca de Winter. Very interesting hypothetical to Du Maurier's original novel.
Movie version of this book doesn't do it justice. Cunningham creates wonderful complex and to a degree self-hating characters. Unfortunatly the book loses some stem in the middle and towards the end and feels almost, wrapped up.
