I have very mixed feelings about this book. I can't really decide if I like it or not. The only thing I actually like is Patch. The storyline is mediocre and I feel like its lacking ... Something. I can't even put my finger on what I'm missing in this. I'm so flustered, I just don't even know what else to say about this book. I'm conflicted right now :-/.

i would have given this a higher rating....at least a four since i liked the concept of the story, reincarnation and finding your soulmate. however, the way it was written was too fast paced for my taste and the ending...WTF!!! reading it i say to myself i'll be giving it a four rating since i'm liking it however, the ending just spoiled it for me.

This was a sweet little book, decently written, and just perfect for vacation. Kate is a New York book editor, sent out to L.A. to help famous actress Lydia Southland write her memoirs. Lydia, Kate and all the people around them have had struggles they've kept secret and all these come out during the process. Both ladies find love, and though it's all terribly predictable, it's also very sweet. The ending is tied up in a nice little bow and they all live happily ever after, which is just what one expects from this type of book. A worthwhile read, if you're going to a beach, or that's the kind of thing you're into.
