I'm not sure what provoked me to read this, but I'm glad I did. It was a Chanukah present from a friend who couldn't decide between this and the Jon Stewart history of the world book. I'm glad she chose this. There's a lot here, and if you're a Stones fan - especially a Keith fan, then you should read this.

When it comes to books of short stories, I rate the book on my favorite short story. So - I remember really liking one of them in there, but I don't know that I've read them all. Again, gotta love Eggers' packaging.

A cute little collection of short stories set in the Harry Potter universe, with additional, rather sly, 'commentary' from one Albus Dumbledore. The stories are all quite light, whimsical little things that fit in quite well with the rest of the series (they're referenced in Deathly Hallows) but don't add particularly much to it. There were what seemed to be a couple of jabs at Beatrix Potter in some of the Dumbledore commentary, though, which seemed... odd. Best for younger Potter fans, or for completists.

I enjoyed this survival/adventure story about an Alaskan Indian teen whose grandfather is a trapper and wise about the ways of survival in the Alaskan wilderness. But his grandfather is not immune to making a mistake and on his latest trip to check his traps accidentally get his foot trapped in one. It's up to his grandson to figure out what is going on and try to rescue him. Reluctant readers would enjoy this short novel. It's a great quick read.

Hmmmm, enjoyed it, still loved the characters but it is maybe a book too far. There were a couple of things that were never explained satisfactorily that jarred with me, and characters acting out of ......well, out of character.....that annoyed me, but at the end of the day, a good, enjoyable, effortless read.

Bu Güney Carolina plantasyon evleri kitabına bakmaktan gerçekten keyif aldım. Bazıları biraz şaşırtıcıydı (Frank Lloyd Wright evi gibi, köpek kulübesi ile tamamlandı - Wright tarafından da tasarlandı - arkada), ancak çoğunlukla çok sayıda büyük eski ev, bol sundurma, sütun, merdiven, İspanyol yosunu gösteriyor ve ivey. Bazen ev hakkında biraz tarih açıkladı, her resim ile resim yazıları keyif aldım.
