The language of this book is so bland and lifeless, the characters so one-dimensional, that I'm actually left wondering if there isn't something I should know... like, were both stories originally created as anime or manga? Or are they specially dumbed down for, I don't know, people who don't usually read books? Or is it simply the matter of bad translation? I know the author's name from somewhere. He seems to be pretty famous. What's the matter? Me very confused. The cover looks great but doesn't fit the book at all.

Excellent! This is my second Michael Connelly book but my first Harry Bosch novel. I will definitely be reading more in this series. It was a page turner - crisp, at times funny, and kept you guessing till the end. He is a must for anyone who enjoys a good detective story.

A poor man's Tom Clancy novel, this book is a great read. Quick and easy, if that's what you're looking for, while at the same time sucking you into a well thought out and intricate plot line that kept me reading when I wanted to turn out the light and go to sleep. That's how I know it's good. If I could give it 3.5 stars, I would, but it's just not quite worth 4 — though it's really close.

Office Space is to corporate, cubicle world as Moo is to anyone working at a University. I liked it - I don't read a lot of fiction, but it was good and for the most part kept my attention. Lots of little details about University life are what made me laugh out loud (memos, receptions, etc.)

A good piece of chick lit. Nice to read after you get through something heavy (in my case i was reading a lot about child soldiers in africa, i needed something light). Also Sayal has a perfect, razor sharp, witty writing style. I am always impressed by books that can make me laugh outloud.
