This book was a roller-coaster. Tohr's greif was realistic, and heart breaking. No'ne was a broken character herself. So knowing that they were able to heal each other was amazing!. What about the other brothers, and not brothers. Quinn, oh how i love you, and the twists that are going to be in your book... I can't wait. John .... Aren't you just the perfect man... sign. Actually all the BDB boys are fantastic, i can't believe it took me so long to read this one (think i was trying to drag it out a little).

It has some good points, especially about being proactive with your wealth and recognizing what constitutes an asset and what constitutes a liability. Basically, an asset is something that brings money in and a liability is something that costs you money, and the hard part is to figure out how to turn your liabilities into assets (eg. take your house which costs you a lot for maintenance, mortgage, and taxes and turn it into an asset by renting out a room). If you need permission to think big and be greedy, read this book.

I started reading this after seeing the trailer for the upcoming film for the first time and all of a sudden I was desperate to read this. I did start to read this before but I remember I only got as far as the appearance of Gandalf then stopped. I thought this book was over-all very good, however I did think that some parts of it were longer than should have been and some parts were too short, for example the Mirkwood chapters dragged on a bit for my liking and I do think the battle of the five armies could have been longer but other than that it is written very well! I do like the maps at the front and back of the book and also the sketches and colour illustrations (some of which happened to fall in the wrong places I felt, but maybe that is my copy)Whilst reading I could also see Martin Freeman in my head so I think he will be perfect for the film! Richard Armitage for Thorin too, again fantastic casting! A friend of mine at school spoilt the end for me, but I sort of knew it was coming as I had played the game on the PS2 - you gotta love that game! I will definitely be reading the Lord of the Rings to find out what comes next!
