Again, not the best written book...but the story line kept me turning the pages. Lots of stuff I "skimmed" in this book. The dialogue between Edward and Bella gets old at times. The middle of this book was slow, but Meyer has held my attention for another 500+ pages. Now for book 3!

I'm so glad I read this book after "To Kill a Mockingbird". They seem to go hand in hand. I feel so astonished and appalled by some of the racial assumptions in the time era of this book. I have to wonder now, is it any different today? Where have we come in the last 50 years?

Pretty good Psycho/Thriller/Cop novel. I think I'll look into more of Rollins' titles. I enjoyed it. A black cop (who incidentally is a psychologist) gets thrown into the middle of the highest profile kidnapping of the century where he finds himself a pawn in that a psychopath has had in the works for over 20 years. Murder...Mystery...Mayem....A really Hot looking couple on a very fast motorcycle...what else could you want out of a book? Skinny-dipping???? Well, it's got that as well. *wink, wink* Enjoy the read.

Pretty good. Kick start to my book club with Steve, which was killed with Arthur & George (or, wait, are we supposed to be reading something? I think Strangers on a Train). I think I found verbally summarizing the plot of this book to Brian just as edifying as actually reading it and 'reflecting' on it. It's probably good book club fodder just because there are a lot of holes to its logic. Good "rainy day escapism" or something to complement your mood when the world is strange. I have clearly described nothing here.
