Not much to say about this one. If you liked the first one, you'll probably enjoy this one. Personally, I think this one is slightly better than the first one. If my memory serves me correctly, I think the third book is even better. It's nice to see Brandon Mull grow as a writer.

This book is the sequel to Parvana's journey. In this book the father was let free and tries to find the family with Parvana. Thair family had fled to a free city but they recently had found out that the free city had been taken over by the Taliban. Parvana's father and Parvana go in search of her mom, stubborn sister, and two little brothers. Parvana rescues a baby and helps out a boy that can't walk and instead of being grateful, he can be the most annoying living thing on th planet. You have to read the book to find out if Parvana finds her family and what happens. The beginning will have attached to the book and will keep you reading it until hte end.
