this collection of Silverstein's poetry is spot-on because, unlike Ben Stiller (Night at the Museum) and Jerry Bruckheimer (Kangaroo Jack), it refuses to pander to the assumption that children should be treated as intellectually incapable of understanding dark humor and wry wit. i loved Where The Sidewalk Ends as a child, and i love it now. i recommend this book to all people.

Tropic of Trouble makes for pleasant, light reading for an evening or two. It's a sweet story with a slightly predictable plot and characters, but enjoyable all the same. Definitely enough steamy scenes, suspense in the plot and a happy end - bedtime reading, here we come. Reviewed by Rina Tropic of Trouble is an exciting book, I simply couldn't put it down. In fact I lost quite a few hours of sleep over it LOL. The main story is thrilling and full of suspense. That aspect I liked somewhat better than the love story, which in my view was rather thin and could use some more depth. All in all I definitely recommend the book, it's an exciting read and has a good story line. The characters are like-able and the plot is good. Reviewed by Monique This was my first time reading any of Wynter Daniels books and I have to say I wasn't disappointed. The writer gives both, Kelsey and Jason, a three dimensional quality that can sometimes be lacking in books of this genre. Kelsey is attracted to Jason but fights against his inherent need to protect the women in his life. As the story progresses, you are aware of the emotional issues that effect both Kelsey and Jason. How it pertains to their developing relationship. The action/suspense in the story is again well written with the added twist of not one but two main villains. As a novel classed Romantic Suspense it certainly ticked all the boxes, Wynter Daniels is an author that I would certainly read again in the future. My experience with this book began when my fourth grade teacher read it during class time. She used this opportunity to interact with the class. It was a lot of fun, taking the edge off of the typical boring affairs of catholic school. Later on I ended up buying the series of books by Louis Sachar, and I have to admit he has a wonder sense of control and style writing for her target market. In my opinion, Sachar is a very underrated children's author. If you have children, this is a fun and definitely worth reading.

Don't bother. Another journey down the audio book learning experience for me. Nothing wrong with audio books as such, just my ability to select a decent one. The author has written what passes for comedy but it is in the style of what I call 'angry comedy'. You know, complaining about everything especially the younger generation. I felt she was trying to adopt the "Grumpy Old Women" style but didn't pull it off. Instead of funny angry it just came across as angry.
