Interesting perspective from Bischoff's side - sheds more light on the rise and fall of WCW.

An unfinished book, random articles retreived from the author's computer after his untimely death, and a few obituaries makes up this compelation. I love Douglas Adams, and this book is filled with insights to his mind and thoughts over the years. His ability to point out the inane, such as our inability to predict the turn of the millenium when programming computers (remember the Y2K bug?), is simply brilliant. The actual book part, the "Salmon of doubt" is unfinished both in length and in editing. In fact, Adams was considering changing the story to be a 6th Hitchikers book by using most of the ideas from this book. It feels unfinished, but is still fun to read. Overall, a great book, but clearly, and very sadly, unfinished.

This is a stunningly nostalgic book - it's the YA equivalent of The Mysterious Flame of Queen Loana, and if that isn't the most pretentious thing I've said on Goodreads, I'll eat my shoe. Also, one of the villians of the piece is from the Duchy of Botstein. Ha!

I enjoyed Written on the Body, but I think I may like this one much more. Winterson's prose is tight but somehow perfectly expressive. The concepts in the novel are mind-blowing and I have a hard time articulating exactly what it is that she's trying to say, but I'm OK with that. It reminds me of Gabriel Garcia Marquez's One Hundred Years of Solitude in that the story is fantastic and magical, yet it seems natural that it would exist. The Twelve Dancing Princesses are my absolute favorite aspect of this novel. This one is definitely worth reading!

This book was good, but is in no way the only breastfeeding book you need. It was decent at explaining the mechanics, but didn't have enough information of what it is really like for me. I preferred "So that's what they're for," and "The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding." That being said, it's a good introductory book.

This man's life's mission is truly inspirational and thought provoking. I came to better understand the Pakistan and Afghanistan regions and cultures through this book and how promoting peace can best be handled through giving their children the opportunity for unbiased education. The biggest drawback to this book was trying to keep straight all of the many people who played a key role in helping Greg Mortenson and of all of the names of villages, village people, and religious or cultural customs that were not explained well. It is definitely worth the read though.
