Captivating as always. It has got it's own unexpected twist again. But I felt like it was a bit unemotional and stoic. Nevertheless, it was a good read. :) Oh, and i love the c.d. thing. :)) I have a good feeling about it.

I love this series! Wow, Medieval times. This starts out with Tess Alexander needing a repair of her car. So she takes her car to the shop to have new mirrors installed. When the owner happens to be the exact look a like as her brother-in-law she about falls out. John de Piaget does his best not to bring up his past or any history at all. Tess starts to realize that John must be Montgomery's brother and from the past. She doesn't let on that she knows. After a mysterious push from someone sends the two of them back to the 1200's, John will have no choice but to come clean to Tess. Great book

It's been a while since I've read a book by Richelle Mead. I can't believe I forgot just how great a writer she is! Like all of Richelle Mead's books, this one was humorous, witty, fascinating, entertaining, unputdownable, a thrill, romantic, and all over awesome. Reading this book was a little like coming home. I got to see some of my favorite people (cough, characters) and engage in a good plot in an all too familiar world. Okay, now that that's all done... ADRIAN! He's awesome, just saying. Eddie isn't half bad either, but I literally squealed whenever (okay, not all the time, just most times) Dimitri was mentioned. Sigh. I love these books. And the guys, as you can clearly tell. I can't wait til the next book! Oh, and Sydney had better come to her senses. She may be astute on some things, but she has several other things to realize. Mostly, about herself.

I didn't like the ending! I feel like the whole story was a little rushed, and you're never quite sure what everyone's age is, a pet peeve for someone like me. Satires aren't really my style so if they aren't yours either you might not like it.

There was such a hype around this book so I was excited to read it, but it was just all around... disappointing. I know a lot of people liked it because it had such a tight plot, and of course I can admire an author for that, but it just felt so lacking in the character development department. I didn't catch on to any underlining themes, really, and maybe that just means I'm not a careful or observant reader, but I was just entirely dissatisfied with this book. I'd probably recommend it to other people because I know a lot of others liked it, but I'd be sure to mention that I didn't really enjoy it.
