فاروق الشاعر الذي يجيد شعره من أول حرفٍ فيه لآخر قطر نبع يسقي القارئين منه ، أحبّ صفحة الإهداء في كل كتبه يجيد انتقاء الشعر فيها جيداً وكان هذا شعر صفحة الإهداء : ولو خيرتُ في وطنٍ لقلت هواكِ أوطاني ولو أنساكِ يا عمري خفايا القلب تنساني اذا ما ضعتُ في دربٍ ففي عينيكِ عنواني قصائد أحببتها : قبل أن نمضي لست مثل الناس لمن أعطي قلبي أريد الحياة وأبحث عنك كثيرا كثيرا خصوصاً قصيدته "لمن أعطي قلبي" كنت أحفظ آخر أبياتها واليوم قرأتها كاملة ، وكما أقول دوماً شعر فاروق جويدة سحرُ آسر.

Fortunately, she recently saved the life of the son of some top St Kilda operatives and has been assigned some help in the form of the handsome and skillful Zach. As they race around the southwest trying to stay ahead of the bad guys and prove the provenance of Jill's paintings, they also fall in lust with each other. The gripping climax is not at all overshadowed by the fact that we knew who the bad guys were all along. Elizabeth Lowell is an author I will still read, and acquire every new offering from, even though I've mostly moved on from the romance/romantic suspense genre.

HST is a phenomenal writer, if sometimes a little hard to follow. This book is less a reporting of the facts of the '72 campaign than it is HST's experience of that campaign. For many authors the two may not be that difference, but in HST's case they are wildly different. I really enjoyed it, though watching yet another Democrat fall victim to many of the classic Democratic missteps was at times a little hard... I was also interested to see how many of the names I recognize from contemporary politics. Once you get in the business, it appears, you're in it for the long haul.
