** spoiler alert ** This book kind of reminded me of the book a million little pieces, or a thousand little pieces, which ever one. Leigh reminded me of the guy from that book with how he very much wanted to help/take care of a train wreck, only difference, Leigh's girl didn't kill herself at the end, which made me happy. It was annoying though, how he kept saying that he didn't want to be like his father when it was pretty obvious that he was always thinking about his feelings but never voicing them...just like his father. Maia and Milly were favorites, even though Maia was ya know nuts, but i'm glad she got herself together. Leigh was as ok as a guy could get in my book. I loved the references to romance novels and how his mother thought. Oh and even though I too wish he had gotten Oliver and Kevin, I'm glad he did beat Preston into a pulp because I agree, he was the one who knew better...with all the problems Maia went through it was hard to understand how she was able to be strong about what they had did to her, it was nerve wrecking! I wanted them to stay together though, it just seemed right, and it was a shocker that no sex, well actual sex was involved between them, maybe that's why he was able to notice subtle things about her seeing as he wasn't preoccupied by what other guys his age are usually stuck on...Umm, I did wonder if what happened at their school really happens in such well off neighborhoods, overall it was a pretty interesting read
