I received a copy of this book for free through the Good Reads First Reads program. Unfortunately, I din't enjoy it. I thought the book was very depressing. Some of the stories lines were not resolved or fully developed. The ending was abrupt and didn't resolve anything. There were several unecessary sexual references and some offensive language. I felt that the writing style was good, but I didn't not care for the story at all. Honestly, the only thing I really enjoyed about this book was the cover art.

Twilight is a book that makes me want to keep reading more because of the vivid images that the details leave in my mind. i really recomend this book to romance, fantasy and fiction lovers. This book has a little bit of all mixed in it and that is what keeps me hooked. What i like about this book is that you dont see anything coming and it hits you by surprise. i think this book is one of the best bookes that i have read because it amused me and kept me entretained. Stephenie Meyer is one of the most creative and detailed authors i know and that is why Twilight turned out to be such a success. Twilight is about a girl named Bella who went to live with her dad in a small town called Forks. when she arrives to school the first day she saw this beautiful family of 5 that hide their secret vampire identities. Between those 5 there is Edward Cullen which later turns out to be Bellas savior/romance.

This was sitting by my bed for about a year and I was reluctant to start it for two reasons: I wasn't sure I was all that interested in Mencheres, and the cover is so awful I felt embarrassed to pick it up. However, I can now admit my doubts were unwarranted. Mencheres is lovely, and once started, I couldn't put his story down. Kira was a great heroine - I don't usually like the heroines in PNRs - and it was fabulous to see how strong she was all the way through, with no contrived angsty subplots. Finding out about Mencheres makes me want to reread Cat and Bones so I can fill in the blanks about him. This also has the bonus of Vlad, and I'll be moving on to his story soon. I loved it, but I'm still taking a star off for the cringeworthy cover - ugh.
