(the perfect epic)-1 I just happened to dislike the characters as people. Anna was frustratingly tempestuous, Vronsky is kind of flat, Kitty is frivolous beyond belief, and I could not sympathize with Levin because of his choice of ladylove.

This book was still very very good, but not quite on par with her other contributions to this series. I felt constantly reminded of another of her books while reading this one, which lessened the experience a bit for me. Still worth checking out!

It has been years since Stephens, has seen him, and he has changed drastically for the better, she soon finds her love for him uncontrollable, and the passion she feels is undeniable. While Clay tends to horses, his love for Savanah grows,but he is oblivious to a secret that Savannah is hiding, not only from him but from his loved one as well. This is a very romantic, passionate book about love, lost and regret, I look forward to reading more books from Katherine Eagle.

Wow, there was a lot of plot. Not really about knitting, knitting was the backdrop, more about the group of girls. Hated the ending. Also because there was so much going on, I didn't really identify and root for any of the characters. Some of the plot is a little out there too. Really quick read though. Because the plot was so packed you really breezed through it.

While the writing was lovely and the theme of the conflicting Indian identities in post-colonial India and in the United States was really interesting and supported with well-developed characters... but. I just couldn't get into it and found it like pulling teeth to get through.

We all know that C.S. Lewis is genius, but you won't fully grasp the extent of his ingenuity until you read this book! He writes this book in a series of letters from the devil to his nephew. In this book, the devil (Screwtape) is trying to teach his nephew (Wormwood) how to best lure mankind away from God. C.S. Lewis effectively makes the reader realize how real the battle is that we are fighting, and how Satan's grasp on us comes in the most subtlest and unassuming of ways. A MUST READ. If I had to recommend one C.S. Lewis book, it would definitely be this one!

I liked this book because it captured a certain type of (hopefully) adolescent relationship - being in love with someone without being able to see who they really are, feeling like who you're with defines who you are. I think the author did a good job making it all seem real and not too melodramatic. This is an LDS YA book, which I didn't realize when I picked it up, and I think the whole "Utah mormon" conflict the main character has going on adds another good element to the story.
