I went out of my element and read a book that i would have never been motivated to read. But i wanted to be open and read something different. I found the story engaging and surprisingly enjoyable. I recommend it for all those big people with a kids imagination.

there wasn't really anything wrong with this book; I just didn't get into it. I liked the themes and characters, but after 50 or so pages I just put it down and didn't pick it up again.

A sad and troubling (though beautifully written) look at the affect of the internet on children, and how small mistakes have large consequences. When a 13 year old sends a sexy video to an older boy (15), he panics and sends it to a friend for advice, soon the video has been forwarded thousands of times and the lives of both children and their families has been altered, maybe ruined. The characters are entirely sympathetic, and terribly human. Really enjoyed this one.

I would probably give this book 3.5 stars. I do enjoy Paulo Coelho's books, and I loved the candidness of the story of his own personal journey- I think you would only enjoy this book if you consider yourself a fellow seeker- I love the idea of a guardian angel...

I ended up enjoying this book. It got off to a bit of a slow start and I almost put it down. I'm glad I didn't. The book finally started pulling together and I enjoyed the ending.

I read this book in about the span of 2 long subway rides. I was initially drawn in by the cover. The book hits the ground running. The story is sad, gripping and heroic all at the same time. Although I am disapproving of the unrealistic, hollywood ending, I know that it could not have ended any other way or it would be the cause of many a suicide. . . it's a very depressing tale.
