WTF? I thought this was supposed to be the last book in the series! I enjoyed the first three so much, the fourth and fifth were distinctly less appealing, and the sixth was a bit of an improvement. But I was looking forward to finishing the series and pretending that the series ended at the end of Destiny, but noooooo. I've got to wait for at least one more book (I'm hoping only one more, with the current obsession with sevens) to find out what finally happens with The Three. I don't even care about anyone else, just The Three. Buggerit, this is annoying.

Nearly done with the shortened version given to me by Daniel. Very impressed so far. Excellent word play and stream of consciousness writing. So far, my favorites are Lexical Funk and Mr. Brown Still Lives There. These aren't so much stories as explorations of people and their minds. I only meant to read one story tonight but looks like I'll finish it soon. And Done. Highly enjoyable and experimental - Daniel Clausen is a writer to keep your eye on in the future. He is able to play with style and language to evoke an emotion and a dream-like state. Definitely enjoyed.

This books is pretty much the Perfect Storm for me. I knew some of the real people in the book because I was lucky enough to grow up on Long Island during the 1960s; I collected comic books from 1959 on, and Chabon writes so well that none of that matters, the book is that damned good. Read it!

So far this a rather interesting that there is a book with all our days and memories listed in it though no one has really seen but ltos of people are looking for it. All the characters say real vauge stuff, acting closed to comments while letting on that they know something the main character does not though he wants really wants to know. The author is the reader in this audio book and does just a passable job as an orator. They really should have hired a professional to do the reading as his syntax is a bit jumpy for me.

This series slowly lost its luster for me. By this book I was just reading to see what happened to Vin. I think that Sanderson is a pretty good write but I really felt that the series was two long. It should have been two books. I think it would have been tighter and more plausible. The main characters continued the trend of doing things that i felt were not very smart. I am sure that some people will not agree. If you were a big fan of book 2, you are safe. If not you might want to skip to the last section and see how it turns out.

This is absolutely, hands down one of the best books I've ever read. Ever. The story of a kid who loses his dad in the 911 tragedy and is trying to find him again because he believes that he can't possibly be gone. It actually moved me so much that I found myself crying at the end of it. And while that may make me sound a little wimpy, I don't care for it was beautiful. I loved it so much that I read it twice, right in a row. Which never happens.

I am not exactly sure why, but Margaret Atwood is not one of my favorite authors. Her writing is very fine, but I have a hard time maintaining a connection to her. I admire her thoughts and ideas more than I do their execution; nowhere more so than in this book. That being said, the middle part of this book does have some outstanding moments in it, and the main character, Jimmy/Snowman is finely drawn.
