I really liked this book and found it very interesting. You get a peak into the world of autism and I loved how some chapters were through the eyes of a little boy with autism. The ending wasn't the best ever but the book was a page turner and I really enjoyed it.

I really enjoyed this book. Ayn Rand is very set in her philosophies and ideals but more power to her. There has to be something said about the image of singular perfection and the unrelentingness of one man's desire to be perfect regardless of popular opinion.

This is a short, sweet, and simple book by one of my favorite children's book authors. However, I wouldn't expect a child to read this book. The story may be written simply, but the ideas are sophisticated. Still it's heartwarming, and a good read just before bedtime.

really enjoyed this book. There wasn't much heavy-duty substance to it. But I found myself thinking about the book when I wasn't reading it and I couldn't wait to get to the end to find out what happened. For some reason, I just really enjoy reading about the entertainment industry. And it doesn't hurt that the Florida Gators (I graduated from UF and am a die-hard Gator fan) and Westies (I grew up always having a Westie puppy).

I read this aged about 20; having seen a reference from an Eric (Ninja) Lustbader book. Frankly, I enjoyed some parts but was completely baffled by others. Maybe reading it 20+ years later would help. I don't really think an alternative ending added anything, either.
