I liked Sadie's series. She took the characters places and directions that I wouldn't have taken them had I been writing the stories. But that made the books interesting.

An enjoyable book of plausible fiction. Plausible fiction is a term I use for a plot based on a real life event. In this one it is easy to see that this real life event is based on former Prime Minister Tony Blair and his relationship with the United States.

Wally Lamb is one of my favorite writers. This particular book is written in a woman’s prospective. Her name is Dolores. It starts out when she was a child; explain in details the experiences she has with her parents. Then it goes on to reveal situations about her father, her mother’s mental health issues and how the main character deals with these issues. She deals with them by eating so excessively that she gains 260lbs as a young adult. She is a bitter and smart mouthed teen who doesn’t want help from anyone and relies on only one person to talk to. Through out the book you get to learn what goes on inside of her head. You feel for her for all the things she has to go through. The book moves through college, she is then in a mental institution and while trying to get her life back in order she finds a man. You then get to learn about her relationship with this man. But it does not end there... In whole, the book is a fantastic read. I would recommend this to Anyone. You will read it in one sitting.

This is one of my favorite series of books from my favorite local author! It's the brand new book 5 in the Kitty Norville series. Kitty is a twenty-something werewolf and radio-show host of Kitty & the Midnight Hour. I enjoyed the book immensely and stayed up way too late last night to finish it! This one was a little different from the others, in that it ended on a cliff-hanger. Which was probably the point - book 6 comes out Feb. 24th - only one month between release dates! She is currently working on book 7. YAYS! I hightly recommend this fun series to werewolf and/or vampire fans, especially if you're from Colorado because she uses a lot of local landmarks in her books! 3 1/2 An enjoyable, well written mystery involving a pop star who is hired by a theater company simply because of her popularity. She can't act, and is maimed opening night.... the mystery involves the entire company. I like a good mystery once in a while, and this fit the bill.

Jess (Sundown) and Abigail's story I enjoyed this book, but didn't love this book which was a bit disappointing as Kenyon is one of my "must read" authors and I don't mind paying for a hard copy of a book. Sundown was great, he was mentioned previously in other books and played a minor supporting role in Zarek's book. My beef was more the heroine Abigal, I never found her totally likable. I would have like a bit more romantic love scene. A new Pantheon is introduced which was a mixture of various Native American religions. We were introduced to more potential characters for future books. There were appearances for characters from previous books, that included Zarek, Talon and Sin. This made me want to go back and re-read their stories again. The book was full of one line quips that were funny. One early on was. "I'm a gunfighter, Jim, not a demonologist. The best part was the add-on chapter at the end which dealt with the birth of a Acheron and Tabitha's child. So though this might not be my favorite book it was worth the read.
