I can't recommend this book to everyone. I thought the main character would be the Indian Mathematician, however, the book revolves around his mentor, Hardy. The book seems to spend a lot of time on Hardy's issues and politics at the university, which I did not find as interesting as the chapter revolving around Ramanujan and his struggles to adapt in the UK and produce meaningfull work.

I liked the characters in this story, and the connections between them drew me in. Every one of them had their strong points. The storyline kept me interested enough to want to see where it was going. Even though I figured out who the bad guy was way before I thought I should, I still enjoyed it. The ending, however, fell rather flat for me. It didn't seem to have any closure with the characters, and they actually seemed a little lost at the end. Not sure what I expected at the end, but I was a little disappointed none the less. The body of the story carried me through to the end, though.

I was a little nervous about this book because of its title. I was worried it was going to be totally hippie-touchie-feely-granola. Turned out it was just fine. But, contrary to this book, I still think time-outs are a good idea, as long as you remain calm and loving with the child.
