I thought the book was well written. The author did an amazing job in keeping the same voice as Mark Tawin's characters. My main issue with the book is the complete disgust I had for the main character. I found it really hard to care what happened at to him. All I thought when I was reading was what is the next self-serving horrible thing will he do? How will he ruin someone else's life? The fact that he died at the end did not provide any satisfaction. He used the poor laundress woman and brought back to her all those memories of that night her family was destroyed and he got off so easy. I was just disgusted through the whole novel.

I thought that this book was ok. I think that it was weird and hard to understand what they where saying. It was also really sad because of all the people who die. I also think that it was really cute how Romeo and Juliet fell in love.Overall i think that it was to dramatic for me.
