The reason why i rated this book a 4 is because i really learned a lot of the history of modern dance and the different techniques. I was amazed of what read and difficult some of the warm ups are.One of the reasons why i did not rate it a perfect 5 is because although it was very informational it was although rather boring.IT also had a lot of direct photos that would help when doing the different techniques. Iam a dancer and when iam in modern dance class i use alot of the techniques to help me during warm ups.This is why i rated this book a perfect 4.

First off this book may seem somewhat depressing. She was a normal girl. She had good grades. She had good friends, and everything was perfect....until IT happened. She never even saw it coming, then she had to call the police and ruined the party of a century. Now her life is in ruins, her friends hate her and no one will talk to her. She is an outcast. But time heals all wounds but it seems all except hers and she just cant bring herself to tell anyone what happened.... I personally thought this was a great book. It was good enough where you could believe it really was just a teenage girl telling her story and not an author. But this book had some graphic parts in it so younger kids may not like it as much. I wouldput it at around 8th grade and up.

It is such a feel-good read, with just a pinch of angst; perfect entertainment for a few hours.

Terrific book. By now I have a real soft spot for Michela Wrong so I'll probably like anything she ever writes again, even if that's a turgid write-up of all the Chinese meals she's ever had. It's Our Turn to Eat is, to borrow an over-used term from the literary "cognoscenti", a very important book. For anyone not convinced (how could you not be?) of the deleterious effects of corruption and tribal / ethnic loyalty (as against loyalty to principles or ideas), this is a must-read.
