Looks promising, though more technical than other layman economic books. Has a nice chapter called "Live and Let Live." Book on game theory and the conditions for cooperation to arise.

I enjoyed this book but had a hard time reading it. The characters were well fleshed out and Ash and Conn were perfect. It took until page 186 for me to get into the story though. There were many unnecessary subplots going on in the book that I kept putting the book down then picking it up again. I don't see where the whole gang war was necessary or the funeral scene. I think the book would have read much better if it was 100 pages shorter. The Ash-Conn story was great.

As a self-respecting English teacher, I feel the need to explain why this is on my shelf at all. I almost didn't add it to my "read" list because I'm a little embarrassed. However, I asked to borrow it from one of my students in order to find out what all the fuss is about. I'd like to say that it was at least fun to read, but it wasn't. The best I can do is admit that if I were fifteen, I too would probably be in love with Edward. Bella as a constant damsel-in-distress became old pretty quick, and I hope my own students will never be as needy as she is. Next time I want to read a romance novel, I'll choose one for adults. Then at least the sex could be more obvious. Sorry girls!

Another historical fiction. More actual fiction, and not quite so based on truth. But I love that time period. It was full of scandle and interesting situations. This was a reccommendation from my mother and I adored it. And the other two books in the "saga."
