Can Murdock save the mate he has come to love before it is too late? Brac Pack 13: Heaven’s Hell by Lynn Hagen is a really emotional read. I found myself really feeling for Heaven. He is a man that believes in happily ever afters and he gets Murdock. At first Murdock comes off as a man willing to do it with anyone anytime anywhere cause, well, he can. Then we find he is really deeper than that. Then the new threat happens. This new threat was very emotional, and changes things forever. The books in this series should be read in order. All the Brac Pack Series builds on each other. I particularly like that, and always want more after I finish reading one of the stories. This one is no exception - the ending left me wanting to bang some heads together and get vengeance for Heaven. I really like the emotion turn this book took and hope to see more of the Alpha Brac Pack men and those they love in the future.

Took me forever to get through this book ...unless you play guitar for the most part I found this book extremely boring. Good thing keith can keep my attention when he plays because he was putting me to sleep with the book. Really not a good read. so many other great books out there skip this one unless there is nothing else to read.

good book. interesting plot development style - like others said, reminiscent of canterbury tales. didn't like that it ended before finishing the story. going to have to go to library to get the next part tomorrow.

** spoiler alert ** So, this is like that obligatory once-a-season episode of Doctor Who, which he's only in for, like, two scenes. I won't pretend like I wasn't itching to finally reach a Kahlan/Richard/Cara scene (and hadn't flicked through the book to make sure they were in it), but this book wasn't nearly as terrible as it could've been. Liking it really hinges on liking Jennsen. (Or, god forbid, Oba didn't make you want to smash your head in) Pillars of Creation kind of felt like a flip of the previous book. Jennsen has reason, but she doesn't have the truth. The people of Altur'Rang had a distorted version of truth, but very few had reason. In a way, this book was Terry Goodkind shaking the reader, going "HAVE YOU REASON?!" Everything is written subjectively, either from Jennsen's naive innocent POV or from Oba's narcissistic, psychopath POV; the reader knows the truth and TG's guiding where it gets applied. SRSness aside, GO ZEDDD! The confrontation at Aydindril kicked so much ass! LOLOL@Cara poking Jennsen with her Agiel.

Loving this book and so glad i stuck with the series. Rabbit is like a feather in the wind. The fact that he has such a sense of entitlement to his wealth but didn't earn it at all is so interesting. Can't wait to read the last book, Rabbit at Rest.

I was very reluctant to read this one. It seemed like a dumb book about a dumb girl. But I really liked it - she is so dumb that it's funny and I had to keep reading to see what she would do next. So now of course I'm hooked on another series that I didn't know had so many books. Oh well.
