Can't wait to get into the sequel.

Whatever the case, these stories are delightful, insightful, and many other ...fuls. And the short story format is just right for them; sometimes we don't need to know everything about fictional character. I am enjoying the vignette format - a snapshot at a crucial moment - and will definitely finish them all.

While taking me forever to get through due to never being able to sit down and read it forever as I normally would, I have finally finished this massive book. It is very different than any other fantasy I have read, even ones that have the same kind of premise, with an almost clinically historical feel. But it is done in such a way that still makes for a very interesting read and an ending that does not disappoint, or stray from the character of the book in any overly orthodox way.

This is a wonderful book of short devotionals for boys. Each 'day' has- * One important memory verse that will hopefully help the child throughout their life. ex. The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? Psalm 27:1 * One short lesson to go along with the verse * A life lesson 'Timely Tip' * A bedtime prayer I'm encouraged by this book because I think it can help children begin the process of spending personal time with the Lord.

Awwww, this was a very sweet and lovely story. I adored Aaron & Zach. Loved their courtship and loved Aaron's family. There were some tense moments where cheating or inappropriate contact could have happened, but didn't. Got my anxiety going there a couple of times. But it was nice to see Zach change his ways to be the person that Aaron deserved. And I liked how they merged their lives together, although it was very fairy-tail like. My biggest niggle was there was too much sex. I was skimming after the third scene to get back to the plot. I also like the way this series is being written so far.(view spoiler) Now I need to vent about one character that rubbed me the wrong way to the point I was pissed every time she came unto the page: Kimmy (Zach's brother's wife). She's the first female character in CC's books I've despised. (view spoiler)
