I came across this in my library and the story sounded interesting and it started out pretty well. I enjoyed the short chapter style which kept the book rolling along until about 2/3 of the way through. It seemed like the author lost the thread of the story and it veered off into a confusing and hectic direction. The ending seemed rushed and incoherent and I still have no idea what the ending meant or why it ended as it did. It was one of those books that I was determined to finish but there was no enjoyment in the accomplishment.

This is probably the 4th DW book that I've read and the least revolutionary in terms of how it has rocked my faith. That being said, it's still a wonderful book and worth reading for a reminder of the importance of prayer.

Perhaps the best cover of all the books that I have, Less Than Zero is a brilliant and scorching look at rich college kids from LA. Easton Ellis's haunting scenes about werewolves add a level of depth to the book that I otherwise wouldn't have expected. It's depressing, but an incredible book nonetheless. Therapeutic for well-to-do liberal arts college attendees.

An amazing book! Heartwarming, emotional, suspenseful, roller coaster ride - it has it all. Being a mother, I was very curious how Ms Haynes handled the death of a child and how the parents coped with it. And Ms Haynes did it very well. I can't say much more without a lot of spoilers except to say - read it.
