I love this book because it teaches children at a young age about dealing with their emotions and how it can be done in a more healthy way. Also children love it because it is very relatable to them because children often get angry and frustrated when they feel nothing is going their way. (This can also be read in the beginning of the year when discussing appropriate and innapropriate displays of anger and how we can control it.

I was anxiously awaited the release of this book and after finally completing it I feel let down. The backdrop, setting, of the story was beautifully crafted, but the story itself was lacking. The new characters are interesting but the story didn't really progress and nothing about the end made me look forward to the next installment.

** spoiler alert ** I love the ending that Clair had a wonderful happy baby girl. I hated the way the book ended with no one being procuted for the fires. I also hated that a son of such standing would rather have his parents to think he is dead, when he is off with a whore. This really irated me mostly since the family really needed closure.
