I love this little book. I read it when I was a teenager and even though it's set during the 1950s and in Catholic School--two things I have no reference for--I just love these characters. I think Caryl Rivers really nails what it feels like to be a teenage girl that longs for a bigger-than-life life while also clinging to that bittersweet time when you know you're growing up but there are things you never want to see end--and sometimes there is a very real deadline, whether it's the end of the school year or the end of the summer. I love these characters and I love Peg's nutty daydreams. I love Peg's boyfriend. I love Peg's best friend's fierce bravado! I am so happy I reread this book. It really felt like revisiting old friends. I can't wait to get the sequel off ebay! Stupid out of print books!

It took me a few years to get through this series because I'd only read one book every year or two (born from laziness, not disinterest!). Some of the novels are stronger than others, my favourites were the first two and the fourth. I love Douglas Adams' writing style and sense of humour. :)

A no-nonsense and inspirational guide to selling books on Amazon for a great profit. I've got a few books but this one seems to be my go-to guide. If you're considering selling books, this is a great place to start. I do think she needs to write a book similar to this one for a broader audience. But no matter who you are, this provides all the basics for getting started and making money.

This was a cute story about a 12 year old who ends up living with her great Aunt. I love the characters. It was neat to read about all of her "moms." I recommend it.

Not sure how I felt about this book. It was quirky and funny and a bit too silly. So was the movie. Some of the concepts were thought-provoking though. So what is the question of life, the universe, and everything? Answer:42. Or the Earth. Or taking the journey with those you love, etc...

Okay, I started reading this when I was half-way through JEalousy and I was sick and Planning my birthday party so a couple bits didnt sink in. SO i re-read and I must say it is hinting at being just as good as the reviews. I got hooked on this author and her style of writing, which i can only describe as involving and folk lore classic worthy. FIrst THe Demon King Captured my heart with Han, Dancer, Raisa and Amon. ANd now I'm falling for Jack Swift, such a clever name, and his freinds. I love authors who are so excellant at writing from the view of the opposite sex and DONT make them our dream mate. FOr that i offer a BRavo! ANd I must say I do like Jessamine, a dark villian with deffinite hints at horrible vilance. But I cant get enough of her. Like AUnt Linda she is an intriguing woman who though a side character you want to know more about. ALso I must add i do like the geaneaology aspect. As it is a thing I'm interested in. Such a clever use of it, and an un-usual aspect of a story. I cant wait to see what happens next.
