This was a very satisfying conclusion to the trilogy. Darcy undergoes a great transformation after his initial proposal is rejected by Elizabeth. It was fun to watch him changed into the man that eventually wins Elizabeth's heart. I don't want to give away much about the story as I think it was the best book in the trilogy and should be best experienced by reading it yourself.

I liked it. I enjoyed the manner of the narration, and how it jumped from present to past and gave some perspective. The characters were interesting, if a little static, and maybe just a little charicatured. By that, I mean that they were believable, but we never really got to know more about anyone than their basic descriptive characteristics. But this was a book based on plot rather than characters, so it was fine. It was even almost enthralling at points. What amuses me is that when I was still working at the bookstore, and this had recently come out in paperback and was all over bestseller lists, there were a lot of customers buying it. And more than one of our regulars said that they'd really enjoyed it, except for the violence against the animals. Here's why this amused me: there was just as much, if not more, violence toward humans, but clearly they were totally fine with that!

I bought the entire series of Brad's books after reading "Billionairre in Training" and "The Business Coach". The rest of the books in this series retouch on the basics laid down in "The Business Coach" and expand on some of the philosophies and strategies a little. I don't think these books were created to work as part of an overall series but moreso as individual books independant of each other. The Business Coach summed them all up neatly without the padding.

Bad Taste in Boys is a book that I have been wanting to read for many long months. I jumped at the first opportunity to be a part of the tour, and I am so glad that I did! If I could sum this book up in one word, that word would have to be awesome. Bad Taste in Boys is a cute story about a girl (Kate) who puts it upon herself to find the antidote for the zombie virus that seems to be spreading across the football team. Kate was such an amazing main character. She was smart and funny. Some of the things she said/ thought had me laughing out loud. I love that she was a geek and knew it. I also liked how honest her voice was. Her honesty made her more likable and more realistic. If you have never read a zombie book before, I would recommend Bad Taste in Boys to be your first. It was a quick read, funny, entertaining, and sometimes it was a bit creepy, but in a good way. There is even a bit of romance thrown in! Yes, there is some gore (it's a zombie book, what did you expect?), but I thought it had just the right amount. Definitely an enjoyable book that I would recommend to anyone.

I'm not entirely sure how I feel about this book. I thought it was exceptionally written, with related interwoven stories. Very real characters. I liked how the story came full circle. I'm not entirely clear on the significance of the doves, but that could just be me. It reminded me of Love Medicine. On the down side, there were so many characters coming in and out of the various stories, I'd often have to go back to remember who was who. That kind of bugged me. Also I didn't necessarily seek out this novel every day; I basically read 30-35 pages a day in order to finish it, so I wouldn't call it a page turner. Yet, still a very well-written book.
