Sünnetten Kaçılır mı? TrendKitaplar Kütüphanesi

I was expecting another couple to be man characters in the fifth enstalment of the Felidae series by Jade Buchanan. In a recent chat we both have attended she said that she is writing the story of Morgan's brother (main character of the fourth enstalment). So when I have seen this ebook I was surprised and now also a little disconcerted... cause the end seems pretty definitive... always time will say. Navin is Rajiv's brother. Like in always the other tales in this series, he is the omega male, a mate who needs a stronger mate. And he finds that in Isha, a big tiger. Navin is arrassed by Pran, another tiger, who was pissed by Rajiv, and searches his vengeance with Navin. So Navin needs a protector and Isha agrees to play the role if Navin will become his bed partner and babysitter for his little cub. And Navin agrees... So really, this is the most "family" like gay romance I have read. The classical story, only here one of the character is not a fragile female, and both the characters have tails! Like all the Jade Buchanan's stories I have read (and Changeling press' books...) this story is short and fast and enjoyable. You can read it without trouble before sleep and it's a good. Even if the end lets intend a stop in the series, I have read hints of a story also for Pran (and his mate-to-be Khalid) and I know about Morgan's brother. So I think this is not the last enstalment I will read of this series. http://elisa-rolle.livejournal.com/13...

Denemeler ( Seçmeler)-Michel De Montaigne TrendKitaplar Kütüphanesi

Excerpt of my review posted on my book blog, Feeding My Book Addiction. http://feedingmybookaddiction.blogspo... Eh. That was my overall reaction to this much talked about young adult dystopian novel. Maybe it's because there are so many young adult dystopian novels out there right now - The Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanne Collins and Wither by Lauren DeStefano (click here to read my review) just to name a few - that are so well written and thought provoking that a mediocre and underdeveloped book in the same genre is just a flat out disappointment. I found two main flaws with the book that I just couldn't overcome. The first was this infertility virus. What is it? Why is it happening? What is being done to cure it? Did it happen overnight? Is Goodside and Otherside a direct result of this virus? How did this culture of teenage 'bumping' for profit develop? There were too many plot holes and missing backstory for me to believe that this could be remotely possible, even in a young adult dystopian kind of world. The second major flaw I found in this book is that everything and everyone was so shallow. In a book that is based on teenagers having sex for profit (sounds a lot like legalized prostitution, doesn't it?), I expected more depth and breadth in the characters and their situations. I felt nothing for these characters nor do I have any desire to read the next installment in this series when it comes out. Even if a first book in a series is bad, I usually finish the series because I like to finish what I start. Not so in this case. This book could have been so much more if the characters weren't so flat and if their world was more defined for the readers. I guess this is just one of those books that couldn't live up to all the hype.
