Seni Yeneceğim Borsa - Ufuk Özcan TrendKitaplar Kütüphanesi

Tarafından yazılmış kitap Tarafından: Placebo Yayınları

Complete review to come...eventually! For now, my disjointed thoughts! {Notes} *Wow. Just wow. I feel like warm fuzzy puppies and kittens are living in my chest now. *Whatever problems I had with the second book in this series, "Perchance to Dream", are nowhere to be found in this amazing conclusion. It flowed beautifully, wowed me at every twist, and broke my heart just a little. *The ending is where these books always shine, and this one was no different. But rather than teetering on the edge, eager to get to the next installment, I just feel...happy. Refer to warm fuzzies previously. It's just a happy, content ending that's got that perfect little edge of sadness to it. Everything ended as it should, all strings are tied neatly in their little bows, and everyone is in their rightful role. *However, like I said, that sadness is there. The weight of choosing one path over another is heavy on Bertie's shoulders. She may be down at the end, still mourning the loss of a certain someone, but we know her by now, and we know she'll bounce back eventually. It's that looming, brilliant future that makes us so happy for her. *(Can I just mention how happy I am that I was rooting for the right guy this time, though? I'm usually always a fan of the underdog in a love triangle!) *And speaking of Bertie, I was so utterly pleased with her this time around. She grew exponentially as a character, and made the most difficult choices of her life with grace and none of the typical teenager whinery. I loved how she never made her conflicting feelings for Ariel and Nate the main point of her journey. It was about discovering who she was as a person, what her powers are, and reuniting the family she never knew she had. If you're leery of romantic triangles, this novel isn't one to fear. The love story really does take the backseat, and I appreciate that in a market over-saturated with lovelorn teenagers. *This may be my favorite book of the entire series. It just rounds out everything so perfectly. I don't feel let down, or super 'OMG' emotional - it just ended they way it should have, and what more can you ask out of a book at the end of the day? However, I really wish it wasn't over. The Theatre Illuminata is a place I never want to leave. *As always, super unique. The writing is, hands-down, some of the best in the YA genre I feel. It's lyrical and beautiful, interwoven with all kinds of Shakespearean quotes. The author really found her stride in this one, and just completely knocked it out of the park. She's the kind of writer I dream about being one day. It's not for everyone, but the people that get it really *get it*. *I want, need, have to have hard copies of these. I feel this is a world I'm going to want to revisit at some point in my life. It's too magical and amazing not too. It has some of the most unique world-building I've ever come across, and it's all done in a plausible kind of way. Things that shouldn't make the slightest bit of sense make perfect sense. *Really, if you've read the other two, you have to read this one. The ending is so bittersweet and perfect. The whole story is just this grand overarching adventure that I never expected to fall so in love with. It's definitely not a series for everyone, but those who love it will love it with all of their hearts. <3 *(And can we have a shout-out for the drop-dead gorgeous cover? Why aren't move YA covers illustrated like this?! I need posters of these on my wall.)
