I wish this book had been separated into 3 books. Each section needed a bit more research and bite to it. But, the information is good and the book is ultimately worth reading. But I do wonder how the decision was made to include these 3 subjects in the same book.

I really enjoy Kay Hooper's psychic suspense novels, and I enjoyed this one, too, but there were several things that bothered me. First, the bad guy's memories of child abuse were a little too graphic. Second, The bad guy (Samuel) and the good guy (Sawyer) had names too similar. It made POV transitions momentarily confusing. Thirdly, the showdown with the powerful enemy wrapped up so quickly that it felt anti-climactic.

This book contains a lot of good information on the dark side of language, but in really bad structure. Wajnryb may be good with words, but she is less talented with sentences, paragraphs and chapters. It will require some discipline to actually complete the book without being meandered into the author's run-off thoughts, anecdotes and ideas. Ignoring the willy-nilly (and rather annoying) organization of the book, Wajnryb has a lot of information and analysis to impart, and it is useful information and analysis. One just wishes that it were presented in a more seamless, to-the-point, and organized manner.

Yummy series. We find Hannah involved in another murder in her small town of Lake Eden, this time it's the High School Coach who bites it. His wife is the primary suspect and Hannah just plunges in to defend her especially since the victim died face down in her strawberry cheese cake. Recipes, Hannah's cat, her mother, her sister Andrea whom the reader warms to. Fun, no brainer mystery.

Because without having faith in Sam as a character who can change, ends up jeopardizing the entire connection that Gibson has floated her story on. Any Man of Mine will definitely test readers. I loved See Jane Score, but it was an entirely different book-Autumn and Sam’s obstacles are much more than Jane and Luc’s and on a more somber note. The conflict that Gibson has created is more true to life than may feel comfortable for some. They have real baggage that can’t be prettied up. And it’s bound to squeeze out a tear or two. What Susan Elizabeth Phillips does with chatty banter and riotous situations, Gibson does with a velvet glove. Her love stories are soothing, realistic and touching. Any Many of Mine is not the sports romp trademarked by SEP or Kasey Michaels, but it still pulls at the strings of your heart. What readers get from the story is entirely up to them. This enjoyable book was a Giveaway through the Goodreads scheme. I found it very easy to read, finishing it in around 2 hours, but this didn't detract from the simple but engaging story about a young widow and her young son. Because of the nature of the genre, the outcome was fairly obvious early in the story, the only question being how it would come about. However, this should not stop anyone from reading this book .....if you want to while away a couple of hours, this heartwarming story will do this for you.
