**************I am not sure If this contains a spoiler, but refrain from reading if you don't want to know anymore then the description of the book. I went a little overboard with the review. Just loved the book so much I had to write, write, write. ************** Omfg! I absolutely adored this book. I couldn't put it down. I should have though, because I am sad now that it's over. There's this girl Bianca. Her friends call her B and her father calls her bumblebee. She goes out partying with her friends and she's always been sitting at the bar talking to Joe, the "bartender. " This guy Wesley that she absolutely despises, comes over to her and acts all nice and then starts referring to her as DUFF. He claims he's being "nice" because he wants to hook up with one of her "hot" friends. At school and when shes out and about with her friends Wesley still bothers her. He irritates her so much. One night when she was out with her friends Wesley came around and she was so irritated she kissed him, he started feeling her up and she slapped him. Soon after her teacher assigned her and Wesley to be partners to do a paper together They end up doing the nasty. She still insists she hates him. After that they can hardly keep their hands off each other. Wesley has always been a flirt, so it starts to really hurt her when he flirts with other girls. They aren't an item, so it shouldn't matter right? Wrong. It always matters. Well you're going to have to read it, to figure out the conclusion.

I preferred Harry Potter when it wasn't such a worldwide phenomenon... It appealed to me because it reminded me of all those old Enid Blyton stories about boarding schools. :)

Wow....what a book. I have to admit that I've never read a book of this size....760 big pages, but I cherished each one reading each word. It grew on me with each story. I could read forever about the life of Jack, his brothers, his friends, and his family....all crazy, torn, hurt, but interesting and full of life and love in their own way. I feel like I learned something about history and how much people can change in our eyes once we know where they came from.

Promised a lot more than it delivered, I was left feeling a little short-changed. Enjoyed the book though and the style of writing.

I read about 2/3 of this but didn't want to finish it because the writing was so amateurish.

I read the first third of this book for class about six years ago. I liked it, but never found the time or the will to finish it.

I loved this book. Not usually a fan of Victorian stories, so his humor was much appreciated. The details can be a bit gritty, but he doesn't overdo it.

okay, i've become a katherine hall page master. i can read these and know the killer before faith knows it herself. of course, she never seems to "know" - she seems to just get trapped by the person at the very end and her life gets threatened. i'm not sure how i feel about that. i think every once and awhile it's important for your detective to actually SOLVE the crime, not just stumble into the nefarious perpetrator's dastardly plans at the end. because then faith goes, "oh me! oh my! i didn't know it was you! you seemed so charming not fifty pages earlier! why are you smiling at me like that?" or something. actually this book would have received two stars EXCEPT that page references my all-time favorite book (Cold Comfort Farm) AND quotes my all-favorite line ("I saw something nasty in the woodshed"). which makes her, by default, awesome. but, really. think about having faith actually solve the murder next time.
