I think I am enjoying this series (just started the second) because I am listening to it on audiobook, and the different accents and intonations capture a lot that I might have missed reading it. Entertaining, slightly educational, and a bit cheesy in parts - bu thoroughly enjoyable.

Her original subtitle was something like Leaving Church: A Love Story. This book gave me new insights into the life style of people in ministry. Taylor is articulate and engaging. Her sincerity in her quest for a ministry that fits with her theology about community and spiritual growth is very touching.

It is a unique and indelibly memorable sojourn, and I really hope to see more from Ruth Wallace-Brodeur in the future.

and here I am again saying "this book series is so much better than the T.V. show." this was an interesting plot and I love how Jeff Lindsay writes - I always get sucked into his novels. I am glad that this was better than his third one.
