A really wonderful, charming little book. Funny and heartwarming, with some really compelling storylines for the characters. The interwoven lives of the characters were lovely to read, and the characters themselves were brilliant, especially the delightfully written Mo and the pityable Cyrill. Would definitely recommend this for a nice comfort read, with enough mysetry to keep you hooked throughout.

Every leader (Bishopric, Relief Society, home & visiting teachers) should read this book, in my opinion.

maybe a bit more religion oriented than I'd expected, but still a good read and personal perspective.

This book called to me from the library shelves with no fore knowledge of what it was about -- I enjoyed this medieval romance with a bit of a new look at Arthurian legends ... What made it more interesting was at the end, I discovered it is written by a Christian woman who was trying to connect with her daughter who'd become a Wiccan ... Loving anything to do with spirituality - it added a new flavor, even tho I'd already finished the book.

Rate The Read: Great, full of action, sex and intrigue. Plot in 3 sentences or less: Limos is the 3rd Horseman of the Apocalypse as well is the future bride of satan. When Arik, a soldier with the U.S. Army’s paranormal unit, the R-XR, kisses her all hell breaks loose, literally. Now not only does Limos have to contend with a brother who has turned evil, the impending Apocalypse and the complex world of angels and demon but she has to deal with her growing feelings for Arik as wel…l What’s right with it: Larissa Ione is, in my opinion, one of the best paranormal romance writer around. Her books are the perfect blend of strong, sassy characters, humor, action and hot sex. This is the second book in the Lords of Deliverance series and it does not disappoint. Ione’s world building is truly awesome and the secondary story of Than and Regan is just as good as the primary plot line. What’s wrong with it: Nothing that I can think of. But at a push I would say that more conservative readers may find the book a little explicit. Favourite moment/quote: “You,” he purred , “are a HILF.” “A what?” “Horseman I’d like to fuck.” Who I recommend it to: All fans of good paranormal romance. Would I follow the Author/Series: Try and stop me! If you like this you might like: Kresley Coles Immortals After Dark Series or J.R Wards Black Dagger Brotherhood Series.

This is a difficult book to rate and to review. Most of it is fantastic. Moon puts the reader in the mind of the autistic protagonist extremely effectively and raises lots of great questions about what it means to be normal, about disability rights, about ethics and humanity - and then the ending just ruins all of this. I don't know that I would quite recommend this book to anyone because the ending is so disappointing, but I do think it would be fun to teach in a course where we could explore that ending alongside the power of the rest of the book. I just wish I could read it again and choose a different ending.

like a road tripper reading jack kerouac, i read tony horowitz's book while touring civil war battlefields in the mid-atlantic in 2003. it impacted the way that i thought about american history and just how "alive" it can be... and here i am working in a history museum today!

Emma benim en sevdiğim Austen romanım. Emma'yı hiç sevmedim ... çok manipülatif. Yine de mükemmel bir okuma.
