I enjoyed this. It has a very non-linear style, with multiple narrators co-narrating the story simultaneously. There's also the fact that the plot is completely insane. Characters flow in and out of reality, interacting with the narrator, with each other, and with historical figures on an equal plane that often makes no sense but also often connects in tagential ways that are interesting anyway. The same story is basically told on three different planes of existance, and they collide and depart at various strange angles. I don't want to give any of the book away, but the switch that occurs about halfway through the book completely hooked me, and I read the rest of the novel in one day, compelled.

Thank you Pam! I read this entire book in under three hours! I loved how incredibly messed up Jane was and how she worked her way through her problems in Austenland. Very funny and cute story, I laughed out loud which is always a good sign.

Great book for the younger age group. Another coming of age story but I still loved the book. It was a lot of fun to read and it was an easy read. It starts with the hero Percy Jackson being in middle school and ends when he's sixteen. It's a great story, told with incredible imagery, great accuracy as far as mythology and history. It's a great series overall.

Reminded me a little of Isabelle Allende's books. I thought it was extremely well written and fascinating look at the culture and times of the 1920's 1930's in Brazil. One of the best reads I have had in a long time.
