I have read several of Charles Martin's books, and enjoyed them all. However, this one was a bit more intense than I expected based on others by him that I have read. I would suggest starting with a different one of his books if you've never read him before. Either way, I can never seem to put his books down.

You have to readh "Wish You Were Here" first as this is a sequel about the matriarch of that family. O"Nan can write dialogue and describe the extraordinary life of ordinary people so it is a joy to read

Although plagued by the same problems that plague most second-of-three-or-more books, A Clash of Kings is still full of the sorts of things that made you love its predecessor: swords (and sorcery), politics (mostly sword-driven), pageantry (shiny swords! and capes and stuff!), and tragedy (who would've imagined so many people would be killed by all those swords??). Lacks the cohesive feel of A Game of Thrones, which follows a steep slope downward into tragedy; this one is scattered, following old and new characters. Although it felt to me at first and in the middle as though it were dragging and not living up to my expectations from the first novel, by the end there was literally nothing I wanted to do but keep reading. In short, it's a #2; it mostly connects #1 to #3--but what a job of that it does!

I really liked this book. I thought it deserved five stars because it was very suspenseful and kept me wanting to read more. I would not recommend reading this book if you don’t like reading about the future. I thought it was really good because of that, because it kind of helps you use your imagination. It deserves five stars because it was very descriptive and throughout the whole book you felt like you were there too.

Very interesting concept. I liked the book, but at times it was a little hard to understand what Jack was talking about. Like when he said he wanted some, or that he liked the left one the best, he was talking about breasts and breastfeeding. It was a very good book though. She exicuted it well.

One of a number of novels I've now read in which a female protagonist has an affiliation with things that go bump in the night, coupled with powers that are different from her friends. In this one, our heroine's friends are mostly werewolves. There's a strong emphasis on wolf pack "culture"--i.e. pecking order, alpha dogs. Like most books of its ilk, it's a fun quick read. It compares decently to C.E. Murphy and Charlaine Harris.

about a half naked sadu in 1921 who comes back to his family in dhaka. He was supposed to have been cremated by his brother- in-law in darjeeling, he is disowned by his wife, but only his sisters swear by him. This of course is set during the time of time of indian nationalism, it brings to the forefront the concept of what constitutes identity. It also draws upon the zamindari system prevalent at the time, the british legal system that crept in. Partha in this book narrates the most historic legal battle of the times- the famous Bhawal Sannyasi Case. He also draws upon various sources like even the flyers that had been circulated that the time. A captivating account that seems like fiction, but presents the account with great accuracy.

Komik! Birkaç kez yüksek sesle güldüm ... Yine de, filmin kitaptan farklı olduğunu duydum.
