Another fun mystery... I can't help myself. After I finish listening to these novels I have to go check the books out so I can get some of the recipes.

Honestly, the writing isn't that great, but the story sucks you in. Fun, light read.

Okay, I am a sucker for anything "Twilight" related. But even I thought this was a waste of money! My biggest complaint was that the book is so small! The photos and sketches were tiny. The text is in handwriting which is so small, even with my reading glasses on, I couldn't read some parts!! Young girls will probably have no problem with it!!! I learn a few tidbits, but not enough. But the DVD is awesome!!! Best deal is at Target!!!

Alice Steinbach makes the time to travel the world again, taking local classes that interest her and observing the cultures she finds. She studies cooking in Paris, Japanese culture/arts in Kyoto, several aspects of Florence, Jane Austen in England, Cuban culture in Havana, the gardens of the south of France, writing in Prague, and training Border Collies for sheepdog trials in Scotland. I loved Without Reservations, Steinbach's first book. I admired her courage in packing up and traveling solo. I liked her thoughts and observations and felt that she is someone that I'd like to know and befriend in real life. I didn't like Educating Alice quite as much. I felt that the author was trying a little too hard to recapture the magic of her first memoir and lost some of her charm. That sounds harsher than I mean it to, but that's the best I can do. There's more introspection in this book, which can be good, but I honestly wanted more about the locations. I never got a good feel for some places, such as Prague and Kyoto. But the places she got right were fabulous. My husband is a second-generation Cuban-American so Havana naturally interests me. Ms. Steinbach was at her best in her descriptions of this city that time forgot. The old cars, the music, the dancing, the people--I'm ready to pack my bags. The only thing that I disagreed with was her description of the food! She was not a fan and seemed to take it for granted that the rest of the world acknowledges that Cuban food is uninspiring. What?!? Their dishes make my mouth water, they're so rich in flavor and homeyness. There's a running theme of her letters to Naohiro and her thoughts on their long-distance relationship. Somehow, this all felt unnecessary. Part of the charm is that she's doing this alone. I did like knowing that they were still together and their relationship was growing but those kinds of books are easy to find. Her travels are what make this book special. Again, that sounds harsh and I don't mean it that way--I just feel the book would have been stronger had all of this been trimmed. Fans of Without Reservations should go ahead and pick this one up; I think you'll enjoy it. I would recommend that new readers give her first memoir a try before reading this one.

Well,i normally dont take the pain of writing reviews, especially for the books which deeply dissapointed me . For starters i just bought this book out of curiousity and it was on the shelves for a long time as the prologue was uninspiring . However as destined, i started reading it and quite surprisingly it actually turned out to be a page turner . Set aside the fact that the book is extremely cliched and the characters are strikingly similar to the other Dan Brown books. The Mystery builds up pretty well . The inclusion of the CIA , The Concept of Noetics , the National Security Crisis and the Fun facts and trivia sessions do their job of getting the readers attention. The Villian(Malakh) is sketched out perfectly to depict evil(clearly made so for the movie).Dan Brown is indeed a master Mystery writer where in he skillfully sketches out a very complex story line and lays it in front of the readers, subtly , one clue at a time . The Best part of the book is where Robert Langdon actually starts chasing the clues and at every step it keeps getting more complex.(from where it starts going all wrong ...sadly :( The biggest dissapointment of the book comes when the National security crisis(hand quoted) turns out to be some home made video , which apparently shows America's most influential people playing dress up and doing mock murders(i literally burst our laughing after reading this). Secondly , the plot had so many loopholes . I did not understand why Malakh thought that Langdon had died , when he himself knew that he had drowned him in a tank filled with some funny breathable liquid and that CIA knows about his exact location and Katherine and Langdon could be found in some way or the other . This book has one of the worst anticlimax i have ever read . The fact which nailed it for me was the fact that the so called Ancient Mysteries , to save which literally every mason has his Balls at stake turns out to be the Bible ... how convenient. The part where he tries to explain and justify this point of view are a big bore and i couldnt wait to get it over with . i finished the book with mixed feelings, i was happy for the fact that i finally read it and need not keep thinking bout it later on and sad that i broke my own promise of not reading dan brown after reading the digital fortress(the worst of the lot and fortunately the last of the other 4 dan brown books i had read before this).Just read this book if you have ample time to waste .

If Kaylee doesn't end up with Tod in the Soul Screamers series, I'd take off Rachel Vincent in my list of favorite authors..LOL (but so far, I still love her!) ...I just love Kaylee and Tod, I don't like Nash for her and rather let Sabine have him. *** This book totally took me by surprise! I was only hoping for more of Kaylee/Tod flirting but never imagined that they'll end up together in this book. And I really did my 'dorky dance' when Kaylee kissed Tod.. AHH MY GAWD!! :) Now Rachel Vincent is one of my most followed author. LOL.

My favorite of the classics. I love it, deus-ex-machina and all. It's important to celebrate Euripides, who gave us psychological depth of character well before his time, and was summarily shunned for it.

Jarring and unputdownable. An impossible book where you feel for each character. The story keeps spiraling further and further out of control, and you just know that there will be tragic consequences to each action...read read read!

Weir weaves a fascinating story of Elizabeth's life, using primary sources with flair and a keen sense of the dramatic. Elizabeth, write Allan Bennet, was "not distinguished by her talents so much as, unlike her sisters, her ability to use them." She was tempestuous, hot-tempered, passionate, at once lonely and aloof, the object of hatred and love by a wide array of religious sentiments, yet revered above all by her realm. At times, I have to wonder, as I read this book, what she would have done had she not had so many marriages to waffle on: the King of Spain, a German nobleman, her court suitors, Essex during his meltdown even. But lest anyone think she was flaky, remember her position of power and her tenuous hold over the Catholics in England, as well as those to the north. Elizabeth was brilliant when it came to politics, just as she was at flirtation, and it perhaps suggests something worthwhile to see the two of them so interchangeable in her life story.

Her şeyi veremem ... Hikaye / seks / seks / seks / hikaye .... 'den sonuna kadar gitti. Kapak: Kapak HAWT içiyor ... adam yarı çıplak ... ateş ... hadi
