I know, I know. This book is gimmicky. BUT, I totally fell for it, as I tend to do.

This book was ok. I finished it. I enjoyed the characters, but the story was kinda slow. The author also uses, 'yeah' way too much. Super excessive. The world concept was interesting, and yet didn't seem fully formed. This book was a rather long take on what could have been done in half the length. The sexual tension between the main characters hangs for way too long to a point where I didn't care what they did. I'm glad I finished it, but I wouldn't read it again.

Ungodly depressing.

This is a fun, quick and interesting read. Bill Bryson is amazingly quite successful in his attempt to fit all of the History of Science in a single volume. Aimed at the general public, the author's vulgarisation and simplification of the topics he writes about are at times a bit frustrating, but the bibliography is extensive, and someone less lazy could definitely make use of it.

I got as much out of this book as I could but could wring no more out of it. The poems are short, to the point and yet leaves much open to the imagination. I think this is a fine book, but maybe not my kind of book of poems. It felt like after three-fourths into the book, that there was too much of the same monotone feel. Sample Poem: Part of the Body It's not that her blouse isn't opening. If I say anything I'm a liar. It's just nobody lives here. Or it's late. Or I'm tired. Maybe lie down lightly or sideways, go back home before dinner. I can only bear one part of the body at a time, the fear the fear and the fear

This book has a horribly embarassing cover that makes you want to shield it from other subway passengers eyes, but I love the content.

I listened to the book on my iPod. It was on Booklist and School Library Journal's list of the best of 2008. If Jenna Fox's parents were trying so hard to hide her, why didn't they change her name? That part was really strange.

When I pick up one of these Percy Jackson books, I always get a chill up my spine. Whenever I set eyes on the cover, I fondly rememeber the first time I read it; I remeber the gods, I remember all the schools Percy destroyed, I think of Grover, thouhtful Annabeth, and Percy's hilarious half-brother Tyson the cyclopse. I remember all the adventures of the son of the Sea God, Percy Jackson. Okay, let me make this clear: I would never, as long as I live, get tired of the Percy Jackson sereis. However, it took me a while to get into this book, everything was moving so quickly! But in a good way. Artemis, the Goddess of the Hunt, has gone missing along with Percy's friend Annabeth. He embarks on an uncertain quest to find them. Artemis must be found by the winter solstice, because she is an important role in the Olympian Council. Throughout his quest, the young demigod is haunted by the presure of solving a mystery of the terrible monster the Goddess was hunting, a monster so incredibly terrible and deadly, it could destory Mount Olympus and it's inhabitance forever.
