A visually stunning work with very few words, this is a story mainly told in pictures about three sisters who live together by the sea... Beautiful and haunting, you can read it in 15 minutes, but I recommend pouring over it for hours.

NOT MY KIND OF HERO I like this author's writing style and enjoyed her book 'Saving Nathaniel', but this one wasn't for me. I kept waiting for the MC, Brian, to grow and mature over the course of the story, but he never did. The ending was strange, too, and it was largely unsatisfying. Only for her writing style and some good laughs here and there, I give Ward two stars.

This was "OH MY GOD...WOW" hot! I haven't read a huge amount of full blown erotica but this by far would be the most steamy, sexy, naughty, hot, hot, hot novel I have read. I usually get bored with erotica because to be obvious...it is simply all just about sex and there are only so many ways to skin a cat (probably not the best visual when discussing erotica - sorry). But Simply Sexual was very kinky and had absolutely no vanilla sex involved. You name it - it was happening. And to top it off - there was actually an enjoyable storyline. So two big thumbs up to Kate Pearce - great balancing act and will most definitely be reading the rest of the series.

If you are an animal lover, I recommend you avoid this book. I found it too painful to read about the animal experiments and had to skim many parts of the book. Truthfully, I found the author's portrayal of the social world more interesting than the scientific anyway.

Gimmicky, fundamentally trivial stories, obviously churned out with some care by the great Gatsby author who must have been in demand by the weeklies that, in his time, published stories with great regularity. All of the characters are mildly interesting, mainly because they present his the context of how class works, which is his life's theme and a great contribution to American literature. If approached thusly, meaning, sociologically, one might survive til the end.
